Two Christmas's ago Eloise pointed out a ball pit when we were shopping. I decided it would be a great gift little to my surprise I could only find blow up pits. In our family we have fur babies a dog ans 2 cats so blow up anything isn't a great idea in our house if we want it to last. Other ones I found were fold out ones with a small wire we bought a second hand one to try it out well that only lasted about two weeks before our dog bent one of the walls and then it wouldn't stay up right so the balls would come out when Eloise was playing. I came up with a great idea which now has lasted over a year and is used weekly and travels with us while we camp or go for over night trips. We also use this out back to play and stay out of the sun. I bought a children's play tent and a bag of 250 balls from ToysRus. Eloise received this ball tent for Christmas 2013 and its still in great shape and works awesome she even plays with the dog in the ball tent and her cats and there is no tears or has not got bent out of shape. This is a cheap easy life hack to a great fun activity for kids all ages. here are a few pictures over the years of it being used we have taken the ball tent to music and arts festivals camping up to the family camp to stay out of the sun and play or even indoors on rainy days. Over the past two years I have only added more balls. At Christmas or her birthday we have picked up another bag of balls as with traveling and using outdoor some balls get lost. This is a great way to occupy the kids while you mop the floors or cook supper it provides hours of fun.
